How To Make Your Next Flight More Comfortable?

Time spent on airplanes can be tiring. Sometimes there are little kids screaming, or you get really dehydrated because you forgot to order that extra glass of water, or you really can’t get any sleep on a transcontinental flight. Here are some tips to make your next flight a little bit more comfortable.

Pack your own food
Do you regularly find airline food bland, and even unedible? Don’t set yourself up for a long flight with a maddening blood sugar crash! Just take your own food onboard. Whatever you decide to have, make sure that it’s not too salty because you need to keep your sodium levels under control. Otherwise, you might get dehydrated and even develop a headache (believe us, we’ve been there!).

Pick a good seat
On a long-haul flight, there are good seats and then there are bad seats. You might want to make sure that you aren’t getting a bad deal because, some low-cost carriers and business class aside, you pay the same price for both kind of seats. The bad ones are located right next to the toilets or near baby carriages that have been installed by some of the airlines. Depending on your circumstances, both of these could be great seats, too!

Choose an appropriate travel class
Keep an eye out for great fares in Premium Economy and Business Class service levels. That’s your gateway to having a really relaxing and comfortable flight. Meanwhile, do note that premium class products may differ wildly between some airlines. Hence, paying 1300 euros for a flight might get you quite regular seats with up-class catering, or you could be able to sleep on a nice lie-flat seat. Traffel newsletter has regular updates for especially nice Business Class deals, we’ll keep you posted!
