1. Philippines. In recent years, the Philippines has become a popular tourist destination. You can enjoy the big city vibes, relax on the beach, or explore the exotic nature. You can find a nice accommodation for two for a lot cheaper that for example a hostel bed in Germany in the middle of the summer. Philippines is also welcoming for tourists wanting to stay for longer than a few weeks, since rental apartments are offered at a very good price.

3. Indonesia. Indonesia is an exciting travel destination. The big cities are an experience in itself, but the best parts of the country are outside the biggest cities. The nature is wild and the beaches are just like out of your perfect desktop image. The best thing is that the food (especially street food) is delicious and cheap as hell! Also, you can do a lot of island hopping for ridiculously good prices.

4. Bulgaria. Bulgaria is an underrated travel destination in Europe. You can enjoy big city life in Sofia, put your toes into the water in Burgas or hike in the mountains in the middle of the country. The big plus is that although not as cheap as South-East Asia, the prices are still considerably better than in most other European countries.

5. Portugal. Another underestimated travel destination in Europe. Portugal is a lot more affordable than it`s Mediterranean neighbors. Portugal has so much to offer. You can visit cities full of history and explore the mountainous country side in the northern parts. The southern parts of the country are more flat by terrain, but are by no means flat as a travel destination.

6. Morocco. The main thing to keep in mind in Morocco is that everything is as cheap as you make it out to be. You have to haggle a lot, also keep in mind not to eat in restaurants just made for tourists. You can find amazingly gorgeous accommodation called Riads in the old towns, especially in Marrakech. Make sure to always haggle beforehand when taking a taxi or buying souvenirs.
